Best Fire Pit Tables

After looking at the pros and cons of a range of fire pit tables and researching both the makers claims and the real customer experience we have come up with a short list of the three best fire pit tables available today. So, without further ado (and in no particular order) here are our personal favorites:

Our favorite fire pit tables are all available at low prices here

You can also read all the customer reviews regarding each table via the link above. These have helped us come to our conclusions, because even if the one table we view is fantastic or faulty, that isn’t to say that on the whole the quality is the same across the whole production line. Gauging a kind of average view across hundreds of customer reviews is a great way to get a feel for each of the products on offer.

Strathwood St Thomas Fire Pit Table

1. Strathwood St Thomas Fire-Pit Table

This cast aluminum table has a lot going for it:

  • A real all weather table, made from rust proof cast aluminum with a solid rain cover to protect the fire bowl when not in use. The open scroll work design means that this table is full of holes (which might not sound so great!). This means rain is never a problem for the table itself.
  • Easy to put together yet very strong and solid feeling.
  • Solid copper fire bowl for durability and coping with the heating and cooling effects of regular camp-fires.
  • Mesh fire screen is supplied.
  • There is a good strong metal grate in the bottom for improved air flow to the fire itself.
  • A range of matching garden furniture is available, so you can have a complete patio set that all looks great together, including chairs, benches and simple tables.
  • The fire bowl cover is completely flat so this really does act as a fully functioning table when you don’t fancy having a fire.

There are a few niggles we do have with this one though. Primarily the price, it is one of the more costly fire tables, but I guess that is reflected in the high quality. In the past there have been issues with the mesh dome not fitting particularly well. At this price level we think a good fit should be expected, and thankfully more recent customer reviews suggest that the Strathwood St Thomas fire pit tables have improved in this respect.

2. Deeco Arizona Sands Fire Pit Table

Deeco Arizona Fire Pit TableThis is a slightly more economical choice (though not by much), but is still of high enough quality to make it a safe choice of fire pit table. The slate top gives it a more modern look that the cast aluminum table discussed above, but it still comes with all the key features we might expect:

  • A matching slate rain cover for the fire bowl creates a flat table top.
  • Cast iron fire bowl and legs give this a strong finish.
  • There is a log grate and mesh spark screen included which we believe are essential items.
  • There is a small range of garden furniture to match.
  • The table is quick and easy to assemble and feels nice and solid once complete.

Our primary niggle with this one is the design on the legs. They look nice and are very stable, but in smaller yards you might find the “kick out” design a little awkward as they seem to be very easy to catch things on!

3. Resin Wicker Fire Pit Table From The Outdoor GreatRoom Company

Wicker Fire Pit TableThe final entry for best fire pit table is an LP Gas Fire Table. We love just how unusual it is. So many gas fire pits are pretty bland looking, but this is a really eye catching bit of garden design. The fact that it keeps you warm too is great, but even without the fire it’s a good looking table.

  • This is one we love simply because it is so unusual with its black glass top and glass rocks.
  • All the gas fittings are completely hidden, and the gas tank stores easily underneath.
  • The flame is adjustable so you can enjoy an atmospheric glow, or a hand-warming blaze as you prefer.
  • A glass cover for the fire bowl turns the whole thing into a real outdoor coffee table when you aren’t using the fire bowl.
  • This is another true all weather table too. Made from an aluminum frame with outdoor rated resin wicker with a glass top you should be able to enjoy this all year round.

As far as mid range LP fire pit tables go this is one of the most stylish, and it hides the tank better than much of the competition. As much as I personally enjoy a wood fire, for convenience and good looks the Outdoor GreatRoom Company Wicker fire pit table is pretty hard to beat.
